There is no doubt that deep seated irrationality exists both in the people who choose to pollute the planet simply to make money.   One would think a rational response would be that the trillions made by these people would be used to cleanup the environment.  But how is it that their sale price of oil has such highs and lows?

Confidence in the sector has also rattled T Boone Pickens plans, a veteran oil man who delighted environmentalists with a very public conversion when he promised to build the world’s largest wind farm in Texas.  He was forced to slam on the brakes in November on the basis that lower oil prices had changed the economics of a scheme that would have powered 1.3m homes.

Now here’s the thing, there is a tremendous interest in giving birth to cleantech projects, especially for new and revolutionary technologies that overcome the obstacles that the powers that be throw in the path of creating a clean environment.
